HEY Y'ALL! I’M GABRIELLA LANZO – A SECOND-YEAR STUDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA. (GO DAWGS!) I’M PURSUING A MAJOR IN ADVERTISING, A MINOR IN FASHION MERCHANDISING, AND A CERTIFICATE IN NEW MEDIA STUDIES. JUST SAYING THAT MAKES ME WANT TO TAKE A NAP.

STORY-TELLING IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT STORIES CAN BE LIFE-GIVING AND LIFE-CHANGING, AND THAT IS THE FUEL BEHIND EVERY WORD THAT I WRITE.

MY FRIENDS CALL ME GABBI, BUT NEVER GABS. I HAVE A PHOBIA OF STICKERS AND AN UNHEALTHY OBSESSION WITH EGGS (I SERIOUSLY EAT A DOZEN AND A HALF A WEEK. BY MYSELF.)  I SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON INSTAGRAM AND 99% OF MY CLOTHES ARE BLACK AND WHITE.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I WANT TO DO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, BUT MISSION WORK IN NICARAGUA, WRITING A BOOK, AND HAVING 100 BABIES ARE A FEW OF THE THINGS I HAVE IN MIND.

BUT FOR NOW I’M GOING TO DRINK A LOT OF CARAMEL MACCHIATOS, BE INTENTIONAL WITH PEOPLE, AND NEVER LET A DAY PASS WITHOUT CREATING SOMETHING – WHETHER MESSY OR BEAUTIFUL OR BOTH. IN THE WORDS OF ERMA BOMBECK, “WHEN I STAND BEFORE GOD AT THE END OF MY LIFE, I WOULD HOPE THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE A SINGLE BIT OF TALENT LEFT AND COULD SAY, ‘I USED EVERYTHING YOU GAVE ME.'”
